Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ReturnShield, a software platform operated by Comrade Enterprises LLC. By creating an account, accessing the website, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use ReturnShield. You represent that information you provide is accurate and that you have authority to connect any Amazon seller account you link to the Service.

3. Description of Service

ReturnShield provides tools to monitor FBA returns, organize potential reimbursement opportunities, and prepare a claim worksheet (CSV) that you submit yourself in Amazon Seller Central. ReturnShield does not automatically file Seller Support cases, auto-submit reimbursement claims, or contact buyers. The Service is provided for informational and workflow support purposes. We do not guarantee reimbursement approval by Amazon or specific financial outcomes.

4. Account Registration & Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of unauthorized access at support@returnshieldtool.com. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose security risks.

5. Subscriptions, Trials & Billing

ReturnShield may offer a free trial period followed by a paid subscription (currently $20/month unless otherwise stated). By subscribing, you authorize Comrade Enterprises LLC and our payment processor (Stripe) to charge applicable fees. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or explicitly stated.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
• Access accounts or data you are not authorized to access.
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any Amazon seller account.
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without written consent from Comrade Enterprises LLC.

7. Amazon & Third-Party Services

ReturnShield may integrate with Amazon and other third-party platforms. Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and policies. Comrade Enterprises LLC is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates. We are not responsible for third-party service availability, policy changes, or decisions regarding reimbursements.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including software, branding, content, and design, is owned by Comrade Enterprises LLC or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your internal business purposes during an active subscription.

9. Your Data

You retain ownership of data you submit or authorize us to access. You grant Comrade Enterprises LLC a license to use such data solely to provide and improve the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that reimbursements will be approved.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Comrade Enterprises LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Comrade Enterprises LLC from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your data, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

13. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time through account settings or by contacting support. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or discontinuation of the Service. Provisions that by nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Montana, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction in the State of Montana, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

15. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Material changes may also be communicated by email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
